All Saints Church, Staplehurst, Kent.

Trevor Vickery Memorial Window, 2001

A 3 light window, with traceries.

This picture shows detail from the centre light, measuring 82” × 24” | 208cm × 60cm.

“Trev the Rev”, as he was affectionately known, was Rector of our parish for 40 years. He was a Welshman and proud of it, hence the subject of the window. St. David, patron saint of Wales, is traditionally depicted raised on a grassy mound with a dove alighting on his shoulder. Leeks, daffodils, dragons and other emblems of Wales also feature in the design.
